It all started in the early 70's when a young girl named Heather discovered what she loved most, living free and engaging with life, in awe and delight. On most days, Heather could be found playing outside in the open air, collecting wild flowers and herbs, playing with animals, riding horses, listening to music and expressing her love for life through creativity. She formed a deep connection with nature and animals at a young age, and began meditating at the age 7, quiet reflection and nature’s university taught her much about living and respecting the natural rhythms of all life. Her family encouraged her "free spirit" by taking her camping, hiking, allowing her plenty of room to roam and by supporting and believing in her dreams. Honoring nature and stillness has helped Heather to form the habits and practices she now chooses in adulthood, deep relaxation and healthy living being part of them. Heather continues to indulge in her passion for nature, herbs and spirituality by gardening, camping, meditating daily and enjoying long walks in the woods. She is a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her many years of work as a Postpartum Doula revealed first hand, the need for stress reduction and self relaxation in the home, especially during times of illness or increased stress.
